Current events of national and international significance are explicitly mentioned as part of the syllabus by UPSC in its notice for the Civil Services Examination. Therefore, any misunderstanding on the importance or planning of current affairs should be resolved. If sincere candidates want to pass the Civil Services Examination, they cannot afford to downplay the importance of current events.
Keeping the requirements of the exam in mind, Vajirao and Reddy IAS Institute has started its monthly current affairs magazine, "Vajirao and Reddy IAS Insights," to address the numerous obstacles faced by candidates and streamline the preparation process. The magazines are thorough resources that break down the major stories of each month into different categories, including science and technology, economic development, and politics and governance. Additionally, the journal includes important articles written from the viewpoint of UPSC CSE. Notably captivating components like mind maps and infographics have been incorporated with ease, improving learning, recall, and revision effectiveness. This method not only helps candidates develop their critical thinking skills but also equips them with the information and confidence to respond to the questions put forth by UPSC in the Civil Services Examination.
